Quantum technology will, in theory, help us bring the future closer. But HOW?

The recent advance of quantum technology, not only gives possibilities for future real-life implementations, but it is NOW very close to help us create new ways of finding the best possible solutions for certain problems. For example, drug discovery is a novel field in which quantum technology has a big potential to play a big role. Other things, like optimization of complex problems using a method, called quantum annealing are on the radar as well. On the other hand, big banks could be very interested in quantum technologies, guess why? It is very hard to hack or steal data and in some cases UNHACKABLE! Imagine the internet being 100% safe regarding eavesdropping - well, the quantum internet could be a solution to that. This is only a small number of use cases of quantum technology that could make lives better.
